Normal is no longer the norm. Our every day life has been drastically affected by Covid-19; from restrictions on our movement and work to our weekly shop, no corner of life has been left untouched.

In these unprecedented times, it is important for us as company, as a community and as a country to work together and try to establish ourselves back to normality as soon as possible. That means staying at home and adhering to Government advice, whilst also taking extra precautions as we go about our lives.

At Mara we are no different. Our role has not changed; ensuring your buildings are manageable, safe and clean. All of our operatives, drivers and staff have been supplied with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we are in constant dialogue with them, making sure they are healthy and taking the necessary precautions when conducting their jobs.

As you can imagine, there has been a high increase in the demand for anti-bacterial cleaning products and PPE, something we are dealing with by limiting the amount of stock sites can order to help ensure that we are able to supply more sites with products that will keep essential workers working in a safe way.

To help combat the spread of Coronavirus, all our contract cleaning sites have been supplied with specialist cleaning agents to keep areas sanitised and safe for residents. We have also adapted the way in which we clean; with a higher emphasis on the frequency of cleaning on Touch Surfaces, such as hand rails and doors.

For clients whose sites are not cleaned on a daily basis, we are offering additional Touch Surface cleans to be carried out at intervals throughout the week; as we are aware of the importance keeping these surfaces virus free is in helping prevent the spread.

With a nation-wide shortage of certain products, we are working hard with our wider network of partners to try and source and supply the products clients need and want. In some cases, we are not able to find an exact match, but with our network we are finding the best alternatives to meet your needs and get them to you as soon as possible.

With our safe guards in place and our team of dedicated and efficient operatives, we are able to keep functioning and provide our clients with the means to make their buildings safe and manageable.
